I went here on 10/27/2023 for a diagnosis on my exhaust. In summary, they misdiagnosed issues on my car, and attempted to charge me for far more than I needed. I will not be going to this shop again, and I recommend no one else does either. I took an exit and my exhaust became very loud. Upon inspecting my car they informed me that the exhaust system “from the cat pipe back” would need to be replaced, it would be $800 for basic parts or $1200 for stock. They also claimed that the right lower ball joint was “very loose” and quoted me $330 for that repair. And said that one of the tires had a cord showing and that all 4 would have to be replaced, quoting me $700. I denied their service as this is the first time I’d been to this shop and took it home to verify their claims. Upon inspecting it for myself I found one tire with cords showing, but the other three had plenty of tread left. The ball joint was not loose but the strut was worn, which was an issue I was already aware of and was misdiagnosed. The exhaust has a bolted connection between the front half and the rear half. That connection was what had broken, yet they quoted me $850-$1200 to replace the back half of the exhaust. Then charged me a $50 fee just for looking at it.

Additionally, the exhaust system has pinholes in the axle pipe and hangers are rusted off. The ball joint was very loose, which we believe is unsafe to drive in that condition.
