Wasn't originally going to leave a review for my not so great experience in Jan ('24) because my service agent was a nice guy and it was out of his control but I just found this while cleaning my car yesterday. Pictures are under passenger dashboard area. When I took it in originally for a number of things they found a blown fuse issue and I gave the go ahead to fix it. First picture is how I found it. Second picture is a close up of the broken clip. Third picture is the price ($164.95) to diagnose and replace the fuse, I assume breaking the cover and barely replacing it was factored in somehow because fuses themselves are pretty cheap. This is the only repair place I've ever taken my car, and the first time anyone needed to change fuses. Final pic is of the date I brought my car in, and the date I finally got it back. I had a few things I needed servicing (mostly recall related) and quoted about a week. I can't prove he said this, hence why I didn't leave a review. But overall it took 3.5 weeks (Jan 8 to Jan 31). 3 of those weeks it was just sitting before it made it into the body shop to replace my door. I know because my agent called regularly and updated me. When they actually started it, it was a few days for the door, including painting and color matching, and everything outside of the door took less than a day. So it did take a week total, it was just started 3 weeks after I brought it in. I could've had my car the whole time they weren't doing anything. Also weird that they make you find your car in their lot. Every other Ford dealer I've been to for oil changes, as a courtesy they drive the car up to you and throw out all their paper covers.
What can I say 5 years later after I bought my brand new car there are still running great with regular maintenance service department is awesome it also pays to buy the extended warranty when you buy new it's well worth it
Just Upgraded My F-150 to a Shelby F-150 800HP Centennial Edition.
Service guy is very knowledgeable. And friendly. Easy to do business with.
After reviewing my oil change bill for my 2018 F-150 that included a picture of a battery cable that was corroded and a recommendation for a $40 service to clean the battery cable. When I got home I popped open the hood of my truck and am including the photos of the battery cable. A month later I brought my 2020 Escape in for an oil change. I then spoke to the service manager. I asked him why they would include a picture of a corroded battery cable and recommend service when my battery cable looks like the day I purchased it. His answer was argumentive and defended the inclusion of the picture as preventive maintenance. I argued that it was drumming up business and most customers would just have the service done because they would not look at their battery cable. I also told him I thought that was deceitful and not a way to treat customers. I also reminded him that I can take my business anywhere. My family and I have purchased multiple new Ford's from this dealership over three decades. The one star review is for the conversation with service manager not for the oil change which was done properly.
