Superb service with a great attitude!!!

I gave Gordy my car to fix my head gasket, paid him hundreds of dollars. He “fixed it” and gave me my car back. I returned it per warranty he stated, which was in February. Gordy did not answer my calls, nor did he give me my car back until June 29th after showing up to a property. He had my car hidden on another rental property of his, not drivable due to the wheels being still too long and he took my catalytic converter in the mean time and had to get it towed. He is very crooked and creepy. Told him my mother was picking up my car the very first time going through him. I stated she looked just like me, for when she came in. He asked “is SHE hot?” Just an oddly uncomfortable thing to hear while alone in his “office”.

I love Gordy Automotive! Every time I’ve had an issue with my vehicle that I couldn’t figure out, Gordy’s has been able to help me. Today I was dealing with an engine noise that I couldn’t recognize, and Gordy took it upon himself to come out and try to hear the noise. Unfortunately it had stopped making the noise at that point, but he was super patient and understanding. They do great work for a reasonable price.

Extremely dishonest and has zero self control. Would beware of the owner and his work/pricing. Called ahead of time to find out how much they charge an hour. They told me $100 an hour. Then when I went to pick up my vehicle, they told me they worked on it for 1.5 hours, but wanted to charge me for twice the time, as they had 2 mechanics work on my vehicle at the same time. So his 100 an hour rate now is 200 an hour according to the owner. Then after I said that don't make sense, he tried telling me they basically worked on it for 3+ hours because he had (again) more then 1 mechanic on the job. So even tho in Hine sight, they only worked on it for 1.5 hours, that doesn't matter. Mind you, they claim they needed 2 mechanics because of how difficult the job was. The job was installing a tow hitch that took 5 bolts. Then when I left, he said it's my fauly because I'm the idiot who couldnt install the 5 bolts on my tow hitch.

Ran into the same issue as Forrest did. The owner is extremely dishonest and a hot head. Would highly suggest staying away from gordys auto.
