Chuck's did special maintenance on my car the next day my car stopped without a battery in a dangerous area It was a night and the hazards lights weren't working either but the Police found me, apart from that Chuck's charged me almost 1,700.00 dollars for repairs, a few days later my car had the problem with the battery again, the battery of my car shouldn't have been recharged but rather replaced with a new one but another mechanic replaced it with a new one and now my car is fine finally. And this other mechanic also realized that my car's antifreeze fluid was too low?? So

May 24, 2023Hi Veronica, we are truly sorry that your van broke down because the water pump failed and left you in an area that you felt unsafe. When your vehicle came in for the oil change service there were no signs that your water pump was going to fail, there were no leaks or noise from the belt area when the engine was running. But when the water pump failed the belt came off which in turn prevented the alternator from supplying power and charging the battery. We pride ourselves on only recommending repairs in which there are clear indications that a part is failing. We charged and tested your battery following the water pump and shifter replacement, and we had no reason to believe that we should sell you a replacement battery. We feel terrible that you had a battery problem a few days after this repair, and sincerely apologize for this situation. In the past we have always advised you of any potential issues we saw with your vehicle, and you have done a great job maintaining your vehicle based on our recommendations. The situation you were left in was unexpected by you and us as well, and we feel terribly sorry for that.
F150 Hillside assistance Error on F150 2015. I would lose power and vehicle would shut down when I was going 45mph or higher up a hill. Fixed. Great communication throughout process. Fair pricing. Great service. Definitely recommend this place. They will get you in a lot quicker for repairs than the dealership too. Big bonus there!!!
Best Place to take your car! I so appreciate Chuck's Main Street Auto in Sussex. I save money every time I go there! The staff is so personable and courteous; their work excellent. They did a complete check of my car when I was to drive to CO for my brother's funeral. I felt confident that I'd have no problems driving there and back safely. They do everything from putting on new wipers to oil changes to the bigger "stuff" with total quality work.
Last minute I needed some work done on my car, including new tires. They had a full shop that day. They took the time to work me in so I could use my vehicle that evening. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable,and accommodating. The shop was very clean. The price was fair and the work was done great. Great job guys. Shop local
I had my vehicle towed here to have them look at it because the brakes went out. They were very friendly every time I called. Katie and John are so nice. They gave me an estimate the same day. The brake inspection price was very reasonable. I ended up scrapping the vehicle because it was a 23 year old minivan and not worth fixing. They were fast and efficient and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
