Many years ago, I had an experience at Markquart motors that required the intervention of the State Attorney General to resolve and I vowed I would never return there for service. For decades, I never did until we bought a vehicle that needed recall service. To our regret, we scheduled an appointment at Markquarts. We scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ahead of time for Tuesday at 8:30 am. We dropped the vehicle on Monday afternoon so it would be there right away Tuesday morning. The service advisor confirmed not once but TWICE, that it would be done in 2 days time. We have other commitments and would not have agreed to a longer time frame, we would have rescheduled. On Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 pm, I called to check on the status of our vehicle. I was told, "They don't have a diagnosis yet". I requested an explanation of why after that length of time it wasn't done. I said if they weren't going to work on it, we would have picked it up. I was informed that appointments "don't work that way". I guess that I was mistaken in thinking the an appointment for service on Tuesday at 8:30am, certainly someone would have at least looked at it by Wednesday at 4:30 pm! When the service advisor called back, she could provide no explanation as to why nothing had been accomplished in 16 hours of working time. She then said that she told us 2-4 days. Which was a bald faced LIE! She said the vehicle "might" make it in the shop tomorrow, I informed her we would be picking up the vehicle. When my husband went to pick up the vehicle, she tried saying the parts were delayed! What parts? NO ONE looked at it! There was zero communication from them regarding any delay. Apparently, we were supposed to leave our only vehicle there until some unknown point in the future.. Here are my take aways from this experience: 1. Appointments do not matter, no matter how far in advance you make them. They will get to you when they get to you...and they won't tell you. Your time does not matter. 2. There will be zero communication. If you think your vehicle will be done at the promised time and it's not... SURPRISE!! 3.If you ask for an explanation, for example, why after 16 hours of working time, nothing has been done on your vehicle, they will straight up LIE right to your face! My recommendation is that if you need service go anywhere else!

If I could give this a negative score I would. I went to the shop to replace the engine. It took two weeks too fix it the day I got it back it was still misfiring. We informed them 4 days later that it was misfiring. They told us nothing was wrong. A month later it had gotten worse. They tried to charge usore to fix what was already supposed to be fixed. Then they put our car thru the car wash and a piece of the front bumper came out. They tried saying it was our fault and said they wouldn't replace it. It was our fault. Buyer be aware.

Worst Service Department ever if you have to have anything down other than an oil change. When you need something other than an oil change, you make an appointment to talk to somebody, not get your car serviced. Then, they want to keep your car for several days and most of the time, they don't have loaners. They expect your to rent a loaner from Enterprise
