My parents went there for their front brakes and they were quoted $800 because they claimed their calipers were bad. Being elderly on a fixed income, they drove the car over an hour to my husband who used to bea mechanic at a dealership and he said the calipers that both front calipers were perfectly fine!!! The caliper pistons moved without issue and even the caliper guide pins were properly greased and moved freely by hand as they need to do. There’s no other way to put it…the auto shop completely lied about one of the calipers needing to be replaced. Additionally, he was able to get all parts, including premium (slotted and drilled) performance rotors, for half the cost the shop was trying to charge for just basic parts, let alone performance parts. So all they needed was new pads and rotors!
