I was charged $300 to press out one UJoint and press in two new ones. Driveshaft was already removed from the truck. They claim it took 2 hours to press 3 U Joints. I pounded out one and put in a new one with a hammer and socket in 45 minutes. There’s NO WAY it took 2 hours with a press especially when the C Clips were already removed. And I was charged $9 for a credit card processing fee when I payed CASH! Local dealership showed 1 hour book time to remove driveshaft, replace both joints and reinstall driveshaft. Full Boar is full Bull! Keep your money and go to an honest shop!

Robert, I’m sorry you feel this way, you brought in a near 10 year old aluminum driveshaft, yes one u-joint may have easily come out via a socket and hammer, but the second one definitely did not. When using a press you must be cautious as excess pressure can destroy a driveshaft in seconds. Your driveshaft in particular had the steel caps extremely seized into the aluminum half of the driveshaft, we had to remove the clips from the rear I-joint, then had to heat and cool numerous times to effectively get the caps out without causing damage to the driveshaft, I understand dealer time may have said 1 hour, but 1 hour is a brand new / slightly used driveshaft. If there was any billing error made on our behalf we are beyond happy to correct our mistakes as at the end of the day we are still human. If you have any questions or further concerns feel free to call or swing by. Again I would be more than happy to give a more in depth overview of why it took longer to service your driveshaft. Thank you, and have a wonderful rest of your day -Full Boar Team

My engine went out a few months back, I am from out of town, they arranged a tow truck and had my car to their facility within the hour, and was diagnosed as a failed timing chain, they explained all my options and everything from cost differences to warranties, and even took me back to show me what had failed, I needed up going with a used engine but my car is running better than ever! Would recommend these guys to anyone as they bent over backwards to help me out! Thank you!!!!

These guys are crooks! They charged me over $900 to not fix my car. Upon picking up my vehicle, it ended up being worse off than when I dropped it off. They did NOT put my vehicle back together correctly and all the gas leaked from it. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy

I'm sorry you feel this way Rod, you originally presented your van to us with a cylinder 1 misfire on 6/24/2022, after retrieving the check engine codes, an opposing spark plug was removed, and was found to be original to the van. Spark plugs on the 3.6 Chrysler engine require removal of the intake manifold to access the rear 3 spark plugs, you were contacted and accepted the request to replace the spark plugs. Upon completing the work, it was found to still have a misfire, the intake was removed again and ignition coils were swapped and it was found the misfire stayed on cylinder 1 confirming the coil pack was good, the intake manifold was removed yet again and the injector for that cylinder was removed, tested, and was found to be functioning properly, at which point we contacted you to inform you we would need to go deeper to locate the problem, which you agreed to. A compression test was performed, and was found to have low compression on cylinder 1, at which time both valve covers were removed and it was found the intake camshaft lobes on cylinder 1 were wiped out from the catastrophic failure of both intake rocker arms on cylinder 1. We had you come in to show you in person what had failed, and discussed what it would take to repair the issue, at which time it was stated that if the work was done here we would absorb half of the diagnostic time. You opted to perform no further repairs at that time , at which time we re-assembled the majority of the upper end of your engine without repairing anything, as you requested after making you aware that re-assembling without repair would only worsen the issue going forward and eventually lead to catastrophic engine failure. Your total bill came to 859.43, which included 432$ in diagnostic time, 83.61 for all 6 spark plugs, 70.94 for oem intake gaskets, and 194.40 for the original changing of the spark plugs, the rest being shop supplies and sales tax, and you were not billed for the valve cover gaskets. As far as your concern about gasoline leaking, we should have been immediately contacted about the issue when it occurred, though we did not disconnect any fuel lines, it is still possible a connection could have been disturbed enough to come loose, regardless of it being our fault or not we would have stood behind it due to having just worked in the general area where something may have occurred. I sincerely hope this clarifies things a bit better for you, diagnostics can often take long periods of time to be absolutely certain of a failure before recommending extensive repair to a customer, and often times diagnostic work is done at a cost to cover expenses, as it was with your van, even though no further work was done. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact us or swing by. Thank you and have a wonderful day

Jake and his crew do top quality work at a reasonable price. Work is done accurately and timely. Always willing to answer all questions and explain in detail any additional work to be done. After a recent deer incident, I was thrilled to learn I could have the use of a loaner car while my vehicle was being repaired. Top notch service, friendly, knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
