Ok. Had my sons Wedding here 8/13/2022. We used the outside venue that was open for that day. We decorated it,set it up and cleaned it all up as was directed by owner. We ordered the food and setup a guest list of how many would be coming,so the Chef could provide enough food for our guests. The number was given to them a week prior to event. 60 to 70 guests. It was a simple dinner, pulled pork sandwich, potato salad, chips,veggies trey,and cheese and sausage cracker trey. Pretty basic. We where to eat around 5pm,the food was brought out to the venue area. I did head count at that time there was 45 adults, and 8 children under 12 . Half way through the guest food line or tables, we needed more of some of the food that was on treys,veggies, cheese and sausage,and chips,where low. I asked if they could bring more and fill them. The response was will go look. In the mean time the rest of the guests are in line and finishing off what was left. Main dish at this time is now empty and I have 14 guests with no food to eat.😟😟. The owner came out and said her Chef made enough food for 100 guest,there should of been plenty. Her answer was the guests where taking more food than was allotted by her Chef. If there was enough food for 100 guests like her Chef said he prepared we should not have ran out. She did not offer to make us anything else or adjust the bill. I had guest going up to her bar and order food so they could eat. She didn't offer to take care of that either. So we had 14 guests with no food and a Venue Owner who skipped out before we had a chance to talk to her. She left our Venue and Food bill with the up stairs Bartender. [NICE] Not. You stay around and take care of the problem at hand. I have been in the catering and food hospitality venue for 40 yrs, always provid and prepare for the unexpected. Extra food is always a good thing. The venue and setting was great we did all the work and clean up. Hats off to my entire family for making my son's wedding great. MICHAEL W, CWIKLA
