Great communication and attention to detail! They were able to get me in right away. They understood my budget, and were able to help me plan out my repairs in a way that didn't cause me to break the bank. Also, enjoyed the touch of them including their branded car air fresheners at the end of the service!

Rather than listen to what I had to say the "manager" on the phone, I think his name was Nick, pressured me into scheduling a $180 inspection. When I repeatedly pushed back I was told "German cars can be so tricky" and when I once again explained what I was experiencing with the vehicle and protested the inspection I was told "it's still cheaper than bergstrom." Canceled my appointment the next day and went elsewhere, the total repair elsewhere with parts and labor was $400 when these guys pressured me to book a $180 appointment just to look at the thing. I can't speak negatively of the actual work they performed because they didn't give themselves the chance, hope your experience is better with their CS as opposed to mine.

Really amazing experience. They custom made a brake line for me and for a reasonable price for the amount of work that needed to be done. Nick was kind and gave us a tour of the facility. Would definitely bring my car there again.

I am rating VL Auto Repair 4 out of 5 stars because of the delayed communication between VL Auto Repair and The Warranty Company. The service was great, Nick communicated with me all the way through the process on what the issue(s) were and what needed to be repaired. The warranty Company held VL Auto Repairs hands from repairing completely from the start. Which in turn I had to bring my vehicle back. Nick took care of the issue on a timely basis.

I had purchased my used vehicle but I don't drive much so I've only put on about 20,000 miles in the last four years. I'm hoping to take a longer trip so I realized I had some issues that were starting to come up and over the course of a few weeks things started to get noticeably worse. I figured I needed to have some attention put toward my vehicle but I haven't really had any mechanical issues that needed attention and didn't have a "regular" mechanic. I do have a Subaru and several years ago I had taken another Subaru to a local dealer thinking that was going to be my best option. It was not, but I've been fortunate that I didn't need to seek additional repair needs. I was a first time customer with VL Auto Repair and only knew about them thru a mailer campaign they had done. (If you get something in the mail, save it for a discount!) I called in on a Monday and they were able to get me in on Wednesday for an inspection. After the inspection they found several issues that I figured they would find and a few issues that I wasn't aware of. Some of those issues were optional but one could have been very dangerous. We went over what should be done and I was lucky that they had the parts in house and were able to get the work done in the same day. They also sent me an email with the things that were recommended but could wait until I returned from my trip. Later that day I realized I had forgotten about an afternoon appointment that I didn't think about because I hadn't expected to be able to have the repairs going right away. My car wasn't going to be ready by then so VL Auto went out of their way to get me to and from my appointment. My car was ready by the end of the day as expected, there were no excuses for additional charges and as a first time customer I felt like someone who had been bringing them a classic car collection for regular daily maintenance and I had spent millions with them for many years. While I've only driven my car maybe a mile now since I picked it up, I have full confidence that my vehicle is ready to go and will get me there safely. One caveat that I consider a bonus, if you are one of the unfortunate few that has dog allergies, please let them know when you call in. I am not and I love dogs but currently don't have one in my life so it gave me great joy to walk in the door and be greeted with the enthusiastic appreciation that only a friendly dog can give. While I was waiting for the final touches on my vehicle I was in my own world of smiles playing with and giving pets to the shop dogs. Oh yeah, and on top of it all, I had a remote starter that I didn't think worked so I went thru this past winter wishing I had been able to get my car warmed up. As it turned out, I just didn't know I should have holding the remote button longer than I thought and because of VL Auto I'll be ready for it next winter! I highly recommend the team at VL Auto Repair for your vehicle maintenance needs and I'm actually looking forward to the next time I need to take my car in.

The VL performance staff are very helpful, and are great at what they do. I went in for a custom cobb tune, and to my suprise the driving feel was like night and day! The best part for me personally is that they're local! Huge thank you to VL performance for making my driving experience become a dream come true! :Update: Had some fab work done to my intercooler and fluids, by VL auto. Once again the VL team has done a magnificent job and service! I will always recommend VL performance to anyone who's looking for top tier quality work done! Huge thank you to VL!

A great shop. Very courteous on the phone. Nick knows his stuff and lets me know what to do to keep my car running smooth for the long term. The technicians know their trade and do a great job taking care of my car.
