9/21/23 I would like to update my review... I reiterate... Do NOT use this business!!! Not only are they CROOKS, but BLACKMAILERS as well. I had amended my original review, as Luke Mattern (owner & salesman) had contacted me to try to help. (This was only AFTER he had seen my review). I was pleased he made this effort. He had sold me a 2007 Toyota Rav4 for $9000.00, and said it was inspected & in (near) impeccable condition. Oh how he lied! First I found the serpentine belt needed replacement. Ok. Understandable. But when I brought it another shop to have the belt replaced 🤯 I was hit with an estimate for more than I paid for the vehicle. It needs: (& it's all on video) Head gasket Timing cover gasket 3 axle seals Brakes & rotors Transmission pan leak Pipe from front exhaust manifold rusted Rear bushings falling apart Trouble with linkage Rear main seal Back door leaks. Can't keep anything in back of rig. Gets wet. It came with 4 brand new tires. After less than 3,000 miles, 2 are on "watch tread depth". Either REALLY bad brand of rubber (which I know it's not) or there is something severely wrong in the front end. It was sold "AS INSPECTED/ABSOLUTELY INSPECTABLE!" - No it wasn't. Waweco did fix the windshield washer and a brake line that had a slit in it, but, I will still have to replace the exhaust system & manifold. They will NOT PASS. Waweco will not stand by their word. They would not repair it to pass. NOT INSPECTABLE! Not without putting another $900 into the RAV4 to replace the cracked, bent exhaust system. When Luke contacted me, he was willing to replace the axle seal. ONE! Out of 3 needed. Knowing the shyster he has shown himself to be, I agreed. Any little bit. An appointment was made, and I edited my original review, as asked. However... When I arrived for my appointment, the one he was "so willing to help & get straightened out", Luke called me to his desk. He did not like my edit, where I said I was so grateful he was willing to make things right. I was told if I did not completely pull my review and give Waweco & Luke Mattern a 5-star review, he would do NOTHING for me or the piece of salvage scrap iron he sold me. Kinda sounds like blackmail to me. I guess we know now how Waweco got all those 5-star reviews. 🤔🤨 I figured out of a $9000 estimate, he was going to "help" with the cheapest item on the list. Out of $9000, the repair he was willing to help with, might have cost him $100. Estimate @$350 at Toyota garage. I will eat the $300 if it will save someone else from this scavenger. For your sake - I repeat... Do NOT do business at WAWECO AUTO SALES!! Not unless you like getting burned. 🔥 9/10/23 - original review Do NOT use this business! They are CROOKS!!! Not 2 months ago I purchased a Toyota RAV4 from them. It only had 161,000 miles, which is nothing for a Toyota. I was assured it was in pristine shape and had just passed inspection. NOT SO! WAWECO has put an inspection sticker on it, but it wouldn't pass inspection anywhere else. After driving it for a week, I had to replace the serpentine belt. At that time I was told that the engine needed extensive engine work; head gasket, valve cover, plus oh, so much more. Over $9000.00 to keep it running another month. The service contract received with the vehicle isn't worth the paper it is written on. I now have a vehicle I paid over $9000 for to use as a lawn ornament, and no way to afford anything to replace it. Waweco sucked out every penny I had. Avoid this business at all costs! Oh, and did I forget to mention, the RAV4 only books for $7500.00. The sold me a vehicle that was technically "totaled"/salvage. And they KNEW! 9/20/2023 (edited @ Luke's demand) Luke did reach out to discuss my concerns. He has offered to try to help resolve the situation, even though he didn't have to. I will be taking it back to Waweco, and they are going to try to make things right. I am grateful for Luke's concern to the issues I am having. He is trying to help make things right.

I purchased a 2011 RAV4 here. I can't recommend them enough. There was no pressure throughout the entire process, the car is in beautiful condition and Luke was super nice and awesome to work with
