Great group of folks to deal with!

Charged me $5,000 for a remanufactured transmission. It failed three times. First two worked for about 13 months. Third (alleged repair) did not run any better than when it was dropped off. Refund? No. The owner Nick will not refund? Thanks for nothing!!

My Jeep's transmission set off an 0741 code, I took it to a Jeep Dealer in St. Albans, after their response was replace the unit to the tune of $7,500, with a two month waiting period to boot! I call our home town Amaco to inspect the 0741 issue, upon further reviewing, they deemed that there was no major issue's with the NAG-1 trans that needed replacement! they added some trans treatment and I was good to go! They were quite honest and forthright! Jason and the Amaco team were wonderful to me and my Jeep! Thanks Amaco Team!!

Had to bring my car in for some maintenance. The staff was extremely friendly, and they had parts for my car within minutes of assessing what was wrong. Definitely bring your car here if you want quality work from expert mechanics.

Jason was very honest and very helpful with our poor little Nissan Sentra. It had a gasket that was leaking and it was going to take 13hrs and $2500 in labor just to replace it. We decided, for out situation, it would not be worth the money to repair it. He was great and never charged us for the oil or the time he had into inspecting the vehicle. I would definitely recommend Jason and Aamco to all.

Amazing experience with honest and upfront individuals. Both Nick and Jason went above and beyond to get the vehicle I'm the shop quick and to look into any possible transmission issues on my car. Communication was great every step of the way and Jason went the extra mile figuratively and literally test driving the vehicle to ensure it wasn't going to be problematic. Wasn't even charged for the time to review the vehicle. I'll be returning for any service work to give this localy owned franchise the first chance to repair my vehicle or vehicles. Why waste money paying a dealership to review possible transmission issues when you can have specialized attention from a business that not only offers a full range of auto repair but understands the complexities of a transmission, rebuilding and removal/installation of a remanufactured transmission. Couldn't reccomended them more and will continue to spread the word to others. Transmissions aren't cheap and takes specialized training, certification and skills as well as patience. I wasn't just sold a service ortold to do unnecessary things. There wasn't problem hunting or the attempt to sell unnecessary things. Was hassle free, no pressure, great location with easy communication. Not once did I need to wait more than a few moments for a phone call back with an update.
