All the guys at Summer Street we're great! I left work at 4:20 and called last minute to see if they could check out my breaks because they were close by and open till 5:30. I usually do my car maintenance myself with my father. I moved out of state and recently drove to get my breaks and rotors done. Knew it was something small and simple we missed. I heard a metal on metal sound when applying the breaks but had drove all the way back to VT from MA. Didn't hear it till half way on my ride so my dad and I couldn't take it apart again to see what it was. Not only did they fit me in last minute (almost an hour before close) But they took it very serious and didn't treat me like I knew nothing (which usually happens when I go to the mechanic). I had called a place and made an appointment but they told me it was probably my "ceramic breaks" I picked out and that they'll probably do that forever, so I didn't trust them. Summer Street took me in right away. Took it seriously when I suggested what wheel was making the noise. When one of them didn't see it right away they all jumped in to find the solution. They even showed me the part that was making the noise and adjusted it free of charge. I wouldn't just expect free work or labor if you have something seriously broken. But it was very kind of them to take a look for me, show me what it was, and adjust it for free. Drove my 40 minutes back home and no noise! Thanks again Nick, Matt, Slade, and Seth. All four of them took a look and contributed in some way. It's nice to know there are still solid kind people out there. 💕
