Todd is the primary reason IMO that Greene’s is still in business. The Owner is not to be trusted and is a bumbler at best. Quick backstory. I was a faithful customer for a number of years, bringing Greene’s 4-5 vehicles I owned throughout the years for service, not insignificant. I also referred them to many others in the beginning. There was a period of time that Todd was not able to work. During that time, almost all the work performed under the owner John’s management, either failed or was misdiagnosed with no responsibility taken. Costing $$$ Furthermore, in recent months over the winter, I brought a vehicle there for repairs before giving it to my son. Hours before dropping it off, I took pics of the van for a specific reason. When I picked the van up, there was a significant damage to the front end, a 6-7” dent. Again I have photos just prior to drop off. I took well over a week for John Greene to get back to me. I’m a business owner providing services, my customers are key to my success through satisfaction and therefore repeat business. The owner took zero responsibility for the damage, though in their care. He made excuses for the damage and his staff and only offered a free oil change in the future. I told him that was not an appropriate response and in line with my business practices and ethics. Greene’s and specifically the owner John, lost my business forever. I will never return. Since, I’ve had additional issues with past repairs/service they recently performed on my main daily driving vehicle. I suggest staying away from Greene’s Auto. There are other options around, in fact, a very reputable service station in Wilmington just down rt 9, a couple miles away. Todd is fantastic, a level headed, honest person with good oversight of the work and mechanics. Unfortunately, Todd is not the owner. 1 STAR only for Todd. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!
