I’ve always dreamed of a mechanic/shop that has not only top notch mechanics, but above and beyond customer service, and Halford has both! When I finally took my vehicle to this locally legendary shop, I was instantly treated like family from the front desk to the owner. We all know car maintenance can get emotional and pricey, but I felt like I got treated like a human being; and loved the communication, quality of work, turnaround, convenience, and fair prices. After dropping my son off at daycare my car’s starter stopped working! Luke, Matt and the team helped me out and installed a new starter that morning and saved my tail. Highly recommend!

How can a bunch of guys be so kind, competent, and generous? My experience was almost unbelievable, Came in off the highway, far from home, all the bells and lights dinging and flashing. The owner spent an hour driving my car, examining it on the lift, and doing the computer diagnostic. Then pronounced it well, nothing broken enough to fix, reset the lights, reassured me he would put his own kids in it and go anywhere, charged me nothing, and sent me on my way. Car has been fine. I would definitely go there if there was something that needed fixing,

We’ve been going to Halfords since we moved to the area a couple years ago and here’s why we won’t ever go anywhere else: -They remember you by name and are always so polite when they see you. They even remember my pup. -They are honest when something needs to be replaced soon vs when it can wait a little bit. They’ll give you an estimate on cost as well as when they imagine you’ll need the replacement. -They explain what’s going on with your car in a way you can understand so you can make an informed choice. -They offer annual inspections for registration. -The sitting area is comfortable and they play great music while they work! Nothing but great experiences 😊

After a fairly terrible and recent experience with another local garage in Milton I did some research, reading through reviews and contacted Halford Motors. The gentleman that answered the phone was friendly and took the time to hear my concerns and address them. I scheduled an appointment for 5/24/23 and dropped my car off the night before utilizing the after hours drop off box. By early afternoon on Wednesday I received a call to update me on the work that needed to be done and the cost associated with the work. Again the man I spoke with was very friendly and communicated clearly, answering all of my questions. By mid afternoon the next day (5/25) my car was ready for pick up. Upon arrival I was warmly greeted, paid my bill and was introduced to the owner who welcomed me as a new customer. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional and I felt like my car was in good hands. I was advised that all the work that was performed came with a 3 year warranty giving me reassurance that if anything becomes a problem I can call them and have it fixed without an issue. I will definitely return if my car needs additional work in the future (though I hope to get a break regarding car repairs) and feel I have finally found a trustworthy shop that can help guide me in making the right investment(s) when it comes to my car. Rate seems reasonable and overall I am very happy with my decision to go here.

I've always heard how honest and transparent Halford Motors is with their customers, and I witnessed it first hand this week. Our vehicle was experiencing some issues that we were told were not covered under warranty, even though we had just bought out our 3-year old leased vehicle. Halford ordered the parts, but urged us to contact the dealership once again with their diagnosis to see if they'd be willing to change their mind. The manufacturer ended up covering the majority of the costs, which saved our family a lot of money. I appreciate Halford Motors going above and beyond to ensure their clients are well taken care of, no matter where they got the job done. Thanks for keeping my family's best interests in mind. Highly recommend, I’ve dropped our two cars off for various items and they have been nothing but courteous, professional, and helpful. When Costco told me I needed new lug nuts since they swelled Halford was able to remove them with no issues whatsoever.

Halford Motors is hands-down my favorite place to go for car repairs and maintenance. They are always extremely pleasant, very well priced, and (most importantly) do a fantastic job. As someone not very car-versed I never feel uncomfortable or like I’m being scammed. They always make a point to explain and show me anything with my car and explain it in a reasonable way. I drive about 30 minutes from Burlington to come here because it’s the best shop around! I could not recommend them enough!
