Excellent service, had a check tire light on, got me in quickly, no issue and topped off my tire pressure, told me to come back tomorrow to make sure pressure held; hard to find kind and helpful service like this now a days, bonus to find when traveling long distances w family.
Overall, just a very down-to-earth sort of “old school” kind of mechanic. Brought in a friend’s Chevy Cobalt I was borrowing and fixing up here and there in return for using it freely and each time, Warren’s was honest with me and tried to let me know the car was in rough shape (which I knew but was nice he wasn’t trying to sell me on unnecessary repairs, etc). The car held on for several more months than it would have had I not brought it in because I had little things done at Warren’s that enabled me to get a bit more life out of the car but not break my wallet.
I've been putting off writing a review for so long because I didn't know quite how to articulate the journey my car went through. The short version is up here. The long version is down below. - When it turned out that I was going to be stranded in VT (I live in another state 4 hours away), he offered to drive me an hour away to the nearest airport/rental car/uhaul, etc. so I could take a rental back home and leave my car with him. - Wes will MAKE sure your car is running. The job took over a month because he wanted to ensure I was safe and could make the 4 hour drive back home. Trust me, it's because my car was f'd up beyond what anyone could reasonably do in a single day (details below). - If you ask him questions, he'll break down exactly what's wrong with your car, what he's trying to do to fix it, what worked, what didn't work, etc. I can tell you this guy is THOROUGH. - I bugged him every week asking how the car was doing and he was incredibly patient and answered all my questions. I have never had someone so patient, thorough, and committed to making sure my car was SAFE. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him if you're in Vermont and run into issues. LONG VERSION: Went for a ski trip up in VT. On the way down, my car started smoking so I had to pull over to a hotel parking lot. Ended up calling AAA and got a tow to Warren's (which is one of the only garages open on Sunday by the way). At first, it looked like my issue was just the oil pressure switch and my car was just dumping oil on the ground. Should've only taken 4 hours. Turns out a LOT more was wrong with my car. Warren put my car on the lift and showed me each part of the car that was broken and went through an explanation. I personally have never had a mechanic go through my car like that. It turns out that also my head gaskets were blown, piston rings, engine block, basically the entire bottom part of my car was horrendous (he showed it to me). Now what's interesting is that I went to 2 different mechanics about 2 weeks before this trip and NONE of them said anything about the issues in my car. One was a dealership and the other was an independent shop. So to have someone who went above and beyond to tell me what's wrong with my car was fantastic. Clearly, this job would take a while and so Wes offered to drive me AN HOUR away to the nearest UHAUL (the 10 ft one too, not the small van) where I drove 4 hours home. I could not take a rental car because most of them closed already. I managed to get home safe. Over the course of more than a month, Wes provided me updates on how the car is doing. He mentioned the biggest issue for his location was getting parts sent to his shop since it's fairly isolated so that's what ended up taking a lot of time. Eventually, I was able to pick up my car and it made the 4 hour drive home. Side note, Wes even encouraged me to go see another mechanic to verify his work as well as fix additional items he did not have time to fix. So I recently went to another mechanic in my town who commented that the underside all checked out and that Wes was correct in that I also needed to fix my front bearings. Overall, it was a great experience working with Wes. I could not recommend someone more highly than him. If you ever read this Wes, you're a good dude and you deserve all the good things that come your way.

May 22, 2024your awesome! with in the time frame i tried all i could, thank you so much! i don't get notifications yet went here to change a couple things and got to read this, wow...thank you!
You can tell this man loves cars and works hard. The owner and his crew worked with pitstop-like efficiency. I came in because I thought I had a nasty oil leak (my oil pan was practically drained). I called multiple shops, all of whom had a multi week wait list. I called Warren's, told them my concerns but despite their own wait list the response was, "can you get here in the next hour? We'll take a look at it." Now as it turns out, it wasn't actually an oil leak, I'd been driving so much I was burning through my oil like a mad man. They changed it out, swapped the filter and had me on my way. These guys saved me weeks of headache and concern. I travel for work, having a car I think is draining oil is not really an option. Thanks fellas!
Wesley, took care of my tire within an hour on a Sunday and saved me for a business trip the next day. He knows what he is doing fast and far.Very reasonable too. Thank god the world has guys like him!
Kindly opened on a weekend, on his wife’s birthday, no less, to help out with a loose skid plate. Knowledgeable and incredibly fair in quoted price. Would go there for all auto repair needs if I lived in the area!
Highly recommend. Dude saw me same day I called, pulled up and immediately they started working on my car.
Brought my truck in with a broken axle and Wes went above and beyond all of my expectations to get it fixed! Warren’s is the shop to go to if your auto needs service in the Manchester Center area. They are honest, friendly and fair! Which is unheard of these days in the mechanic field! Thank you Wes for taking such great care of me when I really needed it! Lenny Mulhern P.S. Love your dog!!
I was recently in a situation with my vehicle, I spoke to Wes at Warren's Garage, they were very quick to help me out in a tight spot. I am grateful. Thank you so much. Great place and very kind people. Blessings to you.
Got a screw in a tire on Christmas Eve while away on long ski weekend. Was headed home that day. No one was open but Warren Garage. Swung by and he had me on my way in ten minutes. What a relief — and a big thumbs up to them for saving Christmas for us.
