Timothy, we are sorry that you did not have a good experience with us. The only part removed was the clockspring to test the part for the diagnostic due to the horn not operating. The broken clockspring was reinstalled when the repair was declined. The estimate for the part and labor was largely based on the cost of the part from the local dealer, which costs us more than $500. Again, we apologize that this experience was not what you were expecting.
