StarEmpty StarEmpty StarEmpty StarEmpty Star

One star, because none isn't an option. As a customer for many years, when it came time for an inspection there were a lot of issues found (and there is ALWAYS an issue of some kind- ranging to small to almost ridiculous). My Dad took his car in and the estimate came to over $3k. Among things that didn't need repair were a leaking strut, which was not leaking according to the new shop AND my own visual. Headlight bulb replacement was supposed to be another $350 due to removal of the bumper, etc (which I did not have to remove and a bulb cost me $25). A sway bar link (evidently missing the fact that this would correct itself with the replacement of the compressor for the suspension system), and some other smalls. When my father asked him what was happening he dismissed it as "I stand by my mechanic". There is a pattern here of add-ons when inspection time has come, and there is ALWAYS something that needs to be done- ALWAYS. In this case, I firmly believe that there has to be an incentive program for the mechanics that to find extra things to fix they get a cut which motivates them to find every little thing so it's like a commission on top of their pay and more revenue for the shop. As a general observation, if you want to have free coffee and a show, sit and wait while the work is being done. These two go at each other, constantly arguing and the volume going up while customers are present which is pretty unprofessional. If you are trying to have a conversation with one owner the other one chained to the desk rudely interrupts whenever she feels like it. 15+ years of going here and after this attempted shafting of my senior citizen father- NO MORE. AVOID THIS PLACE OR IT WILL COST YOU MORE THAN YOU THINK.
