BUYER BEWARE!!! I stopped into Windham Mobil Brake & Tire a couple of weeks ago to get my Honda CRV inspected. I was told that my front and rear brakes "barely" passed inspection and I should schedule service soon. I saw positive reviews so decided to schedule an appointment and got a quote of $1000 for front/rear brakes. Meanwhile, I had to make a trip to the Honda dealership for a recall repair. Out of curiosity, I asked the dealership what they charge for brakes. The service advisor said they would take a look & give me an estimate. Imagine my surprise (and relief) when the Honda service advisor told me my front brakes were completely fine and the rear brakes were fine for now but would probably need service by winter. I called Windham Mobil Brake & Tire to discuss. I didn't really get much of a solid answer and canceled my appointment. Almost gave these crooks $1,000 unnecessarily. I'm very tight on money so am very frustrated that this place took advantage of me. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and NH Attorney General. You guys got caught...shame on you!!😡 Note: response to owner: No, I won't understand!!!! Honda measured front brakes at 8. Your shop told me that the front brakes barely passed inspection and needed to be serviced soon. Complete Lie! Back brakes were measured at 4 at Honda. They told me they were "fine for now". You took advantage of me...plain & simple.

Jun 24, 2023wow really. so you stopped by we got you right in while waiting for a state inspection which we passed.. informed you the brake are low you them made a appointment to get done. then this awful review why? the dealer stated 4 /32 of a inch and 8/32 in front and said you are fine that's crazy,,, that's a 1/8 of a inch in the back and 1/4 inch of pad left in front. which is why you passed inspection. the dealer said you would need by winter 6 months away. so I ask again why the terrible review and you wont answer our calls?? we would never take advantage of a lady and take pride in that. most honest shop around.. new brakes can make your car stop at least 60 feet faster than your current brakes, sometimes that's a matter of life or death. If money is tight I will do for 300$$ off almost have.

I took my vehicle in for inspection and it failed due to foggy headlights and something to do with the rear bumper. I got both of those things fixed for an arm and a leg but they did squat with the headlights. They know those would fail the following year and have a chance for more $$$. I just came back from my friend's house who helped clean them for me. More clear that ever after about $20 and about 30 min of work. This place charged $90. I'm now worried about my rear bumper.... Either way, total rip off! I wouldn't recommend this place.
