I purchased a Hyundai Tucson on Aug 8th 2021 from salesman Dan. The car immediately experienced electrical issues, which they offered to repair for additional money, saying mice chew through wires when it sits in their lot. I thought this was unreasonable and after a discussion they agreed to fix it. I was charged another 100-200 bucks for the repair. But they didn’t fix it, it ended dying at Logan airport one day while my wife was dropping me off. A mechanic in Boston quickly assessed the issue and repaired it for $500. Next the car went through a period of check engine lights staying on and the car overheating, which kept it off the road for 3-4 months. Finally a mechanic discovered critical rusting throughout the bottom of the car. A rust hole through the A frame is unrepairable, the brake lines rusted through at 3 points and have failed and the exhaust pipe has rusted through. The steering column also has issues that needs repair. I was sold a lemon! I told these guys I needed a car to commute back and forth to grad school up in Hanover. This car spent more time in lots and garages awaiting repairs then it did on the road. They lied about the condition of the car, the work done to it, and repairs they made on it. I would not suggest spending money at this business.

Hi Charles, if you had any legitimate issues when you bought the car, we would have addressed them for you. But you have never contacted us since you bought it July 8th, 2021, the day you bought it. So, 27 months have passed since you bought it and you are having problems now and We did something wrong I do not think that is fair. Also, I took the time to pull a Carfax today and it shows there has been 0 yes ZERO maintenance done on it since you bought it. It is not fair to all the good people that almost 2.5 years later you leave a 1-star review because obviously if there was a legit complaint in that time period you would have contacted us. Just because this is the first time you brought it in for service work, I do not think that falls on my company. All in all, I still wish you and your family the best in life, but I wish you would think before you hurt others in such an unfair way. I just bought a nice red little 2005 Volvo from here. Let's start at the beginning. First off, it was raining when I came to look at the car and Mark was very polite and a gentleman, he had an umbrella for me to walk under while we checked out the car, so nice of him! I took it for a test drive and notices a few things so, I came back and told him what I had concerns about and he was immediately concerned and took it out himself and was able to diagnose the issues. These guys truly care about the cars they are selling AND the customers! After everything was taken care of I came back and purchased the car and drove it to work. That's when I noticed a few other small issues, I called Dan and told him what was going on, again he was concerned and was able to get me in quickly to check it out. They're now ordering the parts to fix it. Steve works on the cars and he is also a very friendly guy and definitely knows what he's doing. I bought a used car, you can expect issues to arise, but you don't always get these kinds of people on your side. These guys are friendly, kind, truly care about what they're doing and I am very happy I came here for a car. I know I can trust them and I know I'm in good hands. I would like to add that they also worked REALLY hard to work with MY schedule which was so awesome of them. I highly recommend coming here, you won't be disappointed!

I had a terrible experience at Granite State Auto. Mark was extremely unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. The environment was uncomfortable and felt unsafe, especially for a young woman. The car they sold me had many issues that they refused to fix. They also tried to bribe me into leaving a 5 star review so it is unclear if their good reviews are valid. Be safe.

All that is being said is 100% untrue. We do not bribe our customers for a 5 star review. What we do do is ask for a 5 star review and if we have not earned this what could we do to solve what ever the problem may be. 1. Not sure of the exact time frame she first came in but it was to complain about a blue light that comes on when you star the car and takes a while to shut off. We explained all Subarues have this and once the car is up to operating tempature it will go out. 2. Some days pass and there is a complaint about the alarm was randomly going off. Three of us got involved and determined there was no key Fab with the car and this is perhaps causing the problem. We paid for another key and a new Fab. I have never experianced this but it did solve the problem. 3.I answer my phone erlier today someone acusing me in a very hostile demeaner that the balljoints a re bad in the car and should haver been sold this way. I responded if there is a problen bring it in as soon as you can. With in a short while the car arrived at our shop and I imeaditly with the mechanic lifted the car and determined there was nothing wrong with the balljoints. Still getting verbaly abused I said lets get an oppinion from an independent garage. We drove the car to the inspection and requested they evaluate it and give us ther opinion. Two of there guys looked at it and said there is nothing wrong with the ball joints. 4. She stated the car has many other problems. She so directly attacked us about the ball joints that are not needed if there where other concerns why where they not mentioned? Chris the mechanic was visually shaken from the experiance. I have been doing this since 1984 and have never been verbally attacked ithe way we where today. We strive to sell a vehicle that need snothing at time of delivery. We give a 1000 mile or 30 day warranty and gurantee state inspection in any state. I enjoy meeting new people every day but have learned no mater what you do for some people it is never enough.
