Huge shout out and thank you to Eric. No job ever goes as planned.... But he went above and beyond spur of the moment. My car sounds like a MONSTER. I love it. Thank you for your work. Thank you for your patience and honesty.
Thank you Eric for fixing my very noisy car. Great service, great communication and my wallet wasn’t crying when we left!!
Absolutely not met with the guy over a car he did work on for a friend and he completely lost his mind. Week later I'm getting texts from him. Not professional at all. Day I showed up at his shop he kicked me out in 30 seconds I waited few minutes and walked back in and asked if he could discuss everything like a man.

Aug 23, 2023Not accurate. Your friend told half of the story. Tried taking the car without payment. The bill was a previously agreed upon amount. You came in threatening me so I told you to leave. I regret nothing.
My vehicle was towed here due to not starting one evening, after communicating with the owner Eric , He told me he either wanted $525 up front or to get it towed out of his yard ( $125 to attach a loose wire and $400 as a deposit on work to be done) ,so I got him the $525 cash Over a week later I hadn't heard from him so I stopped over and my vehicle hadn't moved. He told me it was possibly the wire harness and it would cost over 20 hours labor to look at it at $125 an hour . I asked for my $400 deposit back he said no, because he had looked at it outside in the yard. So I was told to either get it off his property or he would help me out , by giving me &500 for the vehicle as junk . It had just recently had many new parts I got it towed to a different mechanic,. Within a couple of hours it was repaired and cost me $250 Obviously the new mechanic knew what he was doing and was honest , not trying to rip me off Hometown auto parts was the worst experience in my 50 years of driving, with a mechanic . I was hopeful he would have a conscience and return my $400 deposit but I should have known better I suppose 1 star ⭐ is too much

Aug 23, 2023Wiring harness was eaten by mice, badly.I wasn't willing to just band aid it. The harness needed replacement.Whoever fixed it, just band aided it. Not how I conduct business. Also I did start the repairs, but customer found someone else who'd do it way cheaper. Best of luck to you sir.
As a Jeep owner/lover, I was disappointed that a dealership and even my long time mechanic could not figure out our ignition problem with my 2008 Wrangler. After over a year of randomly not being able to start the Jeep, I was fortunate to have been directed to Hometown Auto. Eric discovered that some past work was done wrong. Found another issue that needed correction (luckily easy issue). He was fully committed to fixing the starting issue. After replacing several components, it seemed to come down to a fix I just couldn't afford. But he got us to a point where we can safely and reliably use the Jeep. The great thing about doing business with Eric wasn't just about his knowledge and dedication to his craft. He's a good person! He's just like the rest of us. And he treats you like an old friend. When your dealing with a business that you don't understand what they are doing, you need to know you can trust them. If you love your Jeep, put it in the right hands!
I walked into this garage who does my inspections and found out it's under new management.. I met the new owner Eric and I must say he is the most honest and very friendly mechanic I have ever met. He gave me a great price to fix my muffler.. I highly recommend.. thank you Eric I have 2 other things that need to be done will definitely make Hometown Auto my garage.. thank you again.
