Unprofessional only wants cash but doesn't tell you that when you make an appointment. No receipt for payment of cash. No paperwork of work done or work needed.

Apr 24, 2024Actually, we happily accept Paypal, Venmo, and offer a discount if you choose to pay cash (which you smartly took advantage of). I went over all the recommended repairs with you on the phone, and had you requested a receipt or a written list of recommended repairs, I would be more than happy to provide that as well. All service history is kept on file so if you would like any of that information at any time, feel free to contact me and I can provide it for you :-)
It's a small shop with a bit of a rough feel but they gave clear, useful information and charged reasonable rates

I called and asked for a price about changing my spark plugs and he said it would be around $500!! I checked other places and they said it would $200. Thats just crazy!

May 24, 2023Prices vary based on quality of services provided and quality of parts used. We use OEM spark plugs, and your vehicle requires intake manifold removal so our prices include replacing the appropriate gaskets as well as a compression test to evaluate engine health. Also, the book time on your job was 3+ hrs. If you don't want that level of service, it is a free market and you are welcome to choose another shop, but how did we serve you poorly? I strive to serve all my customers with the best quality service and that was the quote I provided you
I've been having the carr garage perform various jobs for me over the years from minor rust repair to inspections of not only me but friends and family. I just had my car in for inspection and they took their time to throughly look at my car to make sure it is safe and I appreciate it. It failed but for something very minor and was fixed right on the spot. Very reasonable prices and I feel comfortable when my car leaves the carr garage.
I have been bringing my vehicle to The Carr Garage for years, and I brought my newly licensed son’s vehicle there as well. I expressed that my son is a new driver and I want his car to be as safe as possible, I feel confident that they genuinely care if our cars are safe and reliable! The services have always been great and priced very fairly. Customer service has been great also! I’m glad I can bring our cars in and know that we’re in good hands.
