I cannot say enough about Griffin Automotive. I am from Upstate NY and traveled to Epping, NH for a soccer game. As I was leaving the field (Sat late morning) and heading to CT for another game, my engine light came on and i couldn't drive faster than 20mph without the entire car shaking. I was with my 2 teenage daughters and my 94lb yellow lab. My daughter googled for an auto shop and we found Griffin Automotive. We pulled in and asked if he could look at my car. My car is a Chrysler, and even though he specializes in Subaru, he didn't hesitate to look at my car IMMEDIATELY. He welcomed my girls and my dog into his waiting room. Although he should have been closing for the day, he troubleshooted, ordered parts, and FIXED my car on the spot! He pushed all of his other work aside to help us. He gave me a quote that was so reasonable and fair considering he could have charged me anything he wanted because I was stranded and out-of-state with no help nearby. The work was going to take a couple of hours and he offered me, my girls, and my dog his truck to take and get lunch. Two hours later, my car was fixed AND because it took less time than estimated, he charged LESS than the quote. WOW!!!! TRUELY AN ANGEL!!!!!! He also gave me his card with his phone number and told me to call him if i had any other problems between there and CT and he would help direct me. I didn't. My car is running PERFECT!!!! In today's world, it is hard to find HARD-WORKING, HONEST, GOOD people, but I did!

Walked into Griffin Automotive on a whim (was in the parking area) and started a conversation. Have been back for work on my Outback twice now (and once for our Corolla). I'm very picky when it comes to mechanics and I have nothing but great things to say about Griffin. Totally recommended.

I only go to Griffin Automotive for my darling Impreza. I drive a half hour from Portsmouth because it's worth it to me to trust my mechanic in his evaluation of my car and prices given. I've received brakes, rotors, a standard oil change, and a full diagnostic on my transmission at Griffin Automotive. I highly recommend this place! There is not much to do in the area if you're going to wait while they fix your car, so I highly recommend going for a lil walk on Scrabble Road behind the shop - bring warm clothes if it's winter!

He’s the Subaru doctor but I bring my Ford Fiesta in for routine stuff and when anything goes wrong. The prices are lower than any other place I’ve been to and the work is so comprehensive, sometimes when I’ve got nothing better to do he’ll let me watch what he’s doing and show me what’s what, I really appreciate his work and the honest way he does it.
