I've been working with Dupont for several years now for the storage and switching out of my winter tires, and have always found them to be very courteous and helpful--always doing a good job, plus going the extra mile with customer service. This year they went above and beyond. Just before Christmas I brought my car in after needing a jump-start for the 5yr old battery. In spite of not having an apptmt and being such a busy season, they soon took time to carefully checkout the problem ultimately saying the battery was good enough to last longer, just that I would need to run the engine every few days. I greatly appreciated not being pushed to immediately replace my hybrid's expensive battery, AND they didn't charge me for this whole checkout process. The week after Christmas I made an apptmt for the coming Friday to have the winter tires put on, but the morning before, after not having started the car for too many days, the battery again needed a jump-start. That day I needed to run errands, but was now afraid it might not start the next day for the apptmt. So, I called Dupont and asked if I could leave my car overnight for the next day's appointment AND could they also make time to change the battery as well as tires. The answer was yes and yes. :) But then my ask became bigger. That coming weekend was to be a snowstorm and if I could leave my car with them over the weekend, after the work was done on Friday, I wouldn't have to shovel my car out for the plows where I live (break for this 74 yr old :). Dupont most generously said that would be fine. Finally, when I came in the following Monday (thanks to their ride service), I found the bill for the battery and tire work was lower than I expected. (By then I was aware that the original price quoted to me had an error--too low for the install into my model car.) I thought we agreed to split the difference in the amount originally quoted and the correct amount. But, when I picked up the car they insisted on only charging me the original amount quoted! I couldn't have been more impressed! This is a business that throughout my years of working with them has consistently shown a true commitment to customer service, and most importantly, to business integrity. They will definitely be seeing my car for its service needs as they come due. Thank you! Jamie
