I bought a 2012 volvo that has given me nothing but problems. I took it to two diferent places before going to eurasian. I am never taking it anywhere else. Jared, Chris and the whole team at eurasian have been amazing. They call me every time the come across something that needs attention. They dont push for me to make repairs that i cant afford. I have not once felt like they were talkign to me like "a girl". They are very informative and just all around great. I cannot say enough about how happy i am with the service. I will be a long time customer that is for sure.

Jul 23, 2023Hi Bonnie, Thanks for taking the time to post a rating. I have searched our database and do not see that you have ever visited our shop. Please feel free to reach out to Jared or Chris at (603) 286-8633 should you be in need of any automotive repair. Thanks!
Will not be going back. I have been a loyal and satisfied customer for over 30 years. The shop could always be trusted to give an honest assessment of work needed; and did quality work. Even when I moved farther away, I continued to patronize Eurasian. Again, even after Rick, the original owner, retired and sold the business, I continued to bring my cars there. I trusted John, the service writer who had been with Rick; and then Tobey, who later joined John. After John retired I stayed around, and nothing seemed to change. Recently, I brought my car in for an oil change, and Tobey let me know that the rear brakes needed to be done, and gave an estimate of $495. I called within a few weeks to set up an appointment for the brake work and a state inspection. I was greeted by a gentleman I had never previously dealt with, who could not seem to find the original quote, but asked me what it was and said they would honor it. To say I was surprised when I received a call and was given a laundry list of items that needed to be done, and a quote of over $3,200, is an understatement. I said not to do anything, and I'll pay for the inspection. When I picked up my car and paid the $40 for the inspection, I learned that both Tobey and his coworker Terry, are no longer there. I brought my car elsewhere, got the inspection and needed work, including the brakes, for $600! Car is running great.

May 23, 2023Hi Jim, I'm not here to argue with you about your loyalty over the years and your personal relationships with the former owner Rick or the old service team you mention above. Simply stated Rick and I run the business very differently. By my design the shop has moved from where you could bring your car in for a "back yard mechanic patch job" to a shop that takes great pride in our quality of work and follows all state inspection laws and procedures. I understand that this change did not work for all of the historical customers, about 2% of the total customer base has left over the seven years due to this reason and I am not sorry about that, however the new customers that we have gained based on our reputation for being an honest and quality shop that fixes it right the first time has more than made up for that 2%. Best of luck to you moving forward. Looking at some of your previous repairs I can see we were in fact patching your car, at your request, rather than fixing it properly. One instance was welding back on a muffler that literally fell out of your car while you were driving down the road which damaged your rear bumper. During that repair you declined a new muffler and exhaust pipes rather asking us to weld back on your rotted muffler as well as use the rotted exhaust supports. None of that makes sense to me nor to the people around you when you drive down the highway with a muffler "secured" with rotted out supports. In specific regard to your last visit, your car failed inspection due to the following: - Rear brakes needed brake pads, rotors and backing plates. All of these parts failed due to state minimum standards, not our opinion. The shop you brought it to after the fact did not replace the brake backing plates so your brakes still fail against state inspection standards. - Ball joint failed which when replaced requires an alignment so your car tracks down the road correctly and you don't wear out your tires prematurely. You did not mention getting an alignment in your above comments so while the ball joint now passes the car still needs an alignment. This, like not replacing the brake backing plates, are examples of "back yard mechanics" which ultimately lead to unsafe cars on the road, which you apparently don't care about. - Two front strut mounts failed, I understand you feel the car goes down the road with "tight" steering but upon testing these parts during our inspection by the process laid out by the state of NH, these strut mounts failed. - Your rear bumper also failed inspection due to a rotted out enforcement support bar. Maybe your bumper falls off when you are driving down the road or maybe when someone rear ends you the bumper does not function as designed and your injuries are more than otherwise would be. Apparently you just don't care about your safety, but we do. - You had a left front marker bulb that was out and thus fails inspection. - Finally you had windshield wipers that did not clear your windshield properly and fail inspection by state law. The store manager called to discuss your patched and unsafe car with you but you declined to come back in so the team could show you the issues. I guess turning a blind eye to your issues works for you. You have an eleven year old Subaru with almost 250,000 miles on it. Cars break and need repair. Our goal is to inform the customer about everything wrong with their cars and repair them so everyone including those in the car and those around the car are safe. To me and my business this is more important than your desire to patch up your car without caring about your safety or others. If you feel we are still in the wrong, bring your car in with a NH state safety inspector and we can go over what still needs to be done. When they see an unsafe car with a current inspection sticker on it they will go visit your new shop to discuss as well as remove your invalid NH State Inspection sticker. All my best and best of luck, Jeff

My family and I were on a trip long ways from home when a wheel fell off on our truck on Christmas Eve. Long story short, the good people at Eurasian Autoworks really understood our situation and put us back on the road home as soon as they could do it in a very quality way and with a smile on their face. Thank you so much!
