I had been to John's before and had a positive experience, mind you it was on the pricey side but they seemed honest. Being in a small town there are not many mechanics around, the second time around I brought my vehicle in because it made a squeaking in the right front tire, they quoted me $600 for front brakes! Not only is that price insane, but I went and got a second opinion, lo and behold my brakes are tip top, nothing wrong with them at all. I'm assuming I got this kind of treatment because I am a woman and probably don't know how much brakes are supposed to cost. if I could do negative Stars I would.
