Thank you for your feedback about your visit. Our goal is to make sure your vehicle is safe, runs as it should and won't leave you stranded. So, yes, we do inspect the vehicle and make sure we don't see anything that could cause a problem so we can prevent it, rather than have you inconvenienced and show up on the back of a tow truck. We don't know about you, but we have never found a convenient time for our car to break down so we recommend preventative maintenance that aligns with manufacturers recommendations and our years of experience servicing vehicles and seeing what common issues lead to problems. We understand that the prior ownership did not do this which resulted in daily tow truck visits to our shop and many unhappy and stressed out customers. Spending a bit on maintenance items when you have control over them vs the cost of a large preventable repair is just common sense and in the long run helps our customers save money, time and hassle.
