Dean answered the phone every single time I called, fit my car right in, diagnosed a weird leak that no other shop (incl the dealer) could figure out, and repaired it on time and within the quote. I couldn’t have expected a better experience.

Hersey's Transmission Services (HTS) rebuilt the transmission on my 2010 Ford Explorer for about $2,900. They provided a warranty of their work for 1 year or 12,000 miles, whichever came first. About 9 months after the rebuild, my vehicle started acting strange when shifting gears. It would rev too high sometimes and not engage in gear right away sometimes. I brought it back to HTS and they got me in to rake the transmission apart and find the problem. Turns out there was an internal leak causing the problem. I have not encountered any additional problems since. My experience with HTS was very positive and I was happy to find out they honor their warranties, no hard questions asked. I definitely recommend HTS to anyone needing transmission work.
They seem to be honest and eager to please. When we got the Ford explorer back and couldn't see the oil on the dipstick cuz we're old and blind they made sure to have their kid go through every one of the fluid things and report back to him he even checked the air pressures and tires. Years ago I had my Buick Park avenue transmission rebuilt there and that transmission was still running when the engine blew several years later. So I would have to say these guys know what they're doing. But it ain't cheap bring your wallet and then some
