Went for inspection, was handed a laundry list of things totaling 2600 to get it inspection ready. I was told they’d have to diagnose emissions codes, diagnose the brake light, that I needed an oil change to have it inspected, among other silly things. I took it down the road a week later and emissions were fine, I simply needed new rear brakes and to have an exhaust leak fixed. Watch your wallet, people, they will pinch you for whatever they can!

The staff of J. S. Auto in Newport were awesome. I was just there for an inspection, but they were thorough, and gave me a complete picture of what my truck needs. They gave me a full write up, and took the time to review it with me. I highly recommend them, and will be back!

More expensive that any shop in town. All so I was charged 110$ for shop supplies.They could not finish the job on time. So I had to come back. This place is uncaring. You should find any other shop.
