I stopped in in early July, right before the whole shop went on vacation, to get an estimate to repair a dent in my rear tailgate. The gentleman looked over the damage and took some pictures before taking my number. He advised me they probably wouldn't be able to get to the car till late August and I said that was no problem and asked to be cc'd when he sent the finished estimate to my insurance company. Around mid-August (as I write this) I realized I had yet to hear anything from them or receive a copy of the estimate. I called to follow up and after the person on the phone found my estimate was told that they would now not be able to fit in the repair till late October. This was in spite of the fact that I had already agreed to a late August repair date back in July and it was Guimond's that had failed to follow up as promised. When a businesses idea of fixing their mistake is "see you in two months" I'll go elsewhere. Though, given how far out they are booking I guess they probably don't need my business anyway.
