If you're thinking of going here, DON'T. I should report them to the state inspection board. They failed my 2019 jeep with only 44,000 miles on it for a crack in the lower left control arm, AND because my windshield wipers had a slight streak in them... mind you, they didn't even enter the cracked control arm into the state system, but hand wrote it on my inspection summary. They wanted to charge ~$1,000 to replace the part and the technician also noted to me multiple times that he was very excited to see this needed to be replaced as he has to replace his ex wives control arm EVERY YEAR, really selling his case here. They wanted $773 for the part + labor (I found the part directly from jeep for $100 less then what they told me), $119 for an alignment, and $20 for materials (???). Seemed a bit off to me, so I got a second opinion at a different place and what do you know... absolutely no crack in my control arm and my car passed inspection with no concerns. Do not go here, and if you do, get a second opinion before getting work done.

Sara, thank you for letting us know about your recent service visit. We performed a proper state inspection per the State of New Hampshire guidelines and your vehicle did fail for the bushing separating in the left front control arm, as stated on your repair order. We provided a picture of this in our digital multi point inspection that was sent to you. The control arm was not cracked, the bushing is torn and separating from the control arm. This is a safety issue with the front suspension and fails per the state inspection guidelines, specifically 3211.07 set by the state. The choices we have in the inspection system allow us to check off a system, not necessarily a specific issue which is why we wrote the specific issue on your inspection report. If another shop was willing to pass your vehicle in that condition that is beyond our control but we would be more than happy to have a representative of the state inspection enforcement division inspect the vehicle with both us and you present and confirm our findings. We use premium quality parts with a 5 yr 50K mile warranty which are as good, or in many instances designed better with improvements made to correct factory defects including parts that do not last as long as expected. Yes, sometimes they cost a bit more but every effort is put forward to provide the best possible replacement part for your vehicle. It is unfortunate that another shop would overlook this issue and pass your vehicle for state inspection as it is after all your safety, and the safety of everyone else on the road that we are talking about here. Please feel free to contact us with any other questions or concerns or to schedule an inspection with the State of New Hampshire inspection representative present to confirm our findings.
