I would give a zeor if I could. I am so upset with this place. Last April 2022 I paid to have my back brakes replaced with same brakes (ceramic) as the manufacture recommends for a 2019 car. I was charged for the ceramic brakes only to start having problem with back brakes making horrible rubbing noise and squeaking sounds when applying brakes 10 months later. I call them and was told it sounded like the pads needed to be replaced, I took my car back there. Now they tell me I have metallic brakes (which means metal brakes) I did not pay for metallic brakes I paid for the ceramic brakes (they cost more but is what manufacture recommends). My invoice shows I paid for the ceramic brakes and when I called the place where they get the parts they confirmed the part number on my invoice was for cermaic not metallic. I gave them a chance to make this right, but was told they would put the correct brakes on but I would have to pay for them to be replaced. They scammed me not only once but before I started having issues with the back brakes I had them change out the front brakes only to find out not even a month after they replaced the front, they replaced the front brakes with the cheapest brakes they could and charged me for the ceramic. oh, they tell me no warrantee on their work, this is not even 10 months of having the back brakes replaced I started having issues, (I have put 11,000 miles on the back brakes) now they are making a horrible rubbing, sqeaking sounds with using brakes. They checked the front brakes, (I just had them replaced January 23, 2023) they tell me the front pads are at 90%. What, 25 days after they replaced my front brakes they are down to 90%? These are brand new brakes I do not even have 1000 miles on the brakes and they are worn to 90%? They gave some ridicousl excuse why that happened. No, you replaced with the cheapest brakes you could fine and charged me for the ceramic brakes which is much higher. I see the reviews showing the scamming, especially for women some men too. They refused to do the right thing, so now I am making it my business to report them to the BBB, and the Attonery General and all reviews online and I suggest anyone else who has been taking advantage of or scammed to do the same thing.

Update: Had my car serviced at their New Location. New Location was really clean! Had TV and coffee! The 2 Mechanics working were professional. They were very helpful and serviced my car without a appointment. Always have had a good experience here! One of the best garages I've been to. Lobby is really clean and open. Coffee and tv. Windows look into the garage area so you can see your car getting worked on! I was a walk in and my appointment made was for a hour away not weeks like other garages! Employees are professional and very helpful. I recommend this garage for any of your needs.

I just replaced a set of brakes installed by Family Car Care on 1/2019, and I was disappointed in the quality of their work. The front caliper bolts were seriously overtorqued. I broke a Craftsman socket removing one of them, and the other three were just as tight. I'm guessing the tech used an impact driver to install them and didn't care that they're only supposed to be 25 ft-lbs. The slide pins had begun to freeze, and the inner pads wore faster than the outer, which had plenty of life left. The rear showed obvious carelessness. The caliper bolts weren't overtorqued, but Family Car Care's tech didn't bother transferring the service plug for the parking brake mechanism over to the new rotors they installed. There was an open hole where this rubber plug should have been, which permitted four years of road grime to get into the parking brake. This step takes 30 seconds; a mechanic who cared about his work wouldn't miss this. I don't know which tech "JE" is, or if he still works there. But if they still do work like this, I would take my business elsewhere.
