Second time questionable inspection. Last year I gave the benefit of the doubt. This year they Marked my 14 month old 80k tires that barely have 15k on them in the “yellow”. Failed my windshield for a small FILLED crack (not in line of sight) that passed last years inspection even though it hasn’t grown in almost 2 years.

Dear Taylor, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your recent visit to our establishment. We truly value your input and appreciate the opportunity to address any concerns you may have. Upon reviewing your comments and watching details in the technician video, I wanted to offer some clarification regarding the tire markings and tread depths. Our marking system utilizes green for tires within optimal tread range and yellow for those approaching the halfway point of their expected lifespan and red when they are recommended for replacement . New tires start at about 10/32 of an inch of tread depth In your case, the left front and right front tires were both measured at satisfactory tread depths 7/32 and 8/32 then appropriately marked green . Your right rear tire was also marked green with a measurement of 6/32. However, the left rear tire, while still within a safe range at 5/32, was marked yellow due to nearing the halfway point of its lifespan. This is standard practice, and we want to assure you that there was no intent to mislead or engage in dishonest practices. Regarding the variation in tread depths among your tires, it's important to note that factors such as driving habits, road conditions, and tire maintenance can contribute to differences in wear patterns. We always aim to provide transparent and accurate assessments of your vehicle's condition, and we apologize if there was any confusion in this instance. Sadly any imperfection that is visible within the wiper path on the windshield fails inspection even if filled per New Hampshire state inspection laws. As Assistant Manager, I want to reassure you that transparency and honesty are core values of our business. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss this matter in more detail, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. Sincerely, Brian Rourke Assistant Manager
