Our lives are filled with extraordinary moments and Hendrick Toyota Merriam helped reinforce to my 21-year-old daughter that the American dream is alive and well. First, if you find yourself at this specific dealership, take an opportunity go meet Jacob Sanchez. Now, you'll notice Jacob looks no different than the other sales people at this location. They all seem to dress alike and they all have the same mantra of courtesy and customer service. So, what sets Jacob apart? Well, let's start with a little backstory. A few weeks ago, I set up a service appointment to replace the tires on my 2019 Toyota Highliander. The fact that this is the second Toyota our family has owned is a testament to the brand itself. Kim Nigh, one of the Service Advisors at this location helped me through the entire process. She was able to glean my specific needs just by spending a few extra moments walking me through some of the considerations during a typical service appointment. I admitted to her that I had fallen behind in some of my service responsibilities as money had been tight and my daughter had been using my vehicle to get to and from work for the past few months. All told, Kim did a fantastic job taking care of me and my vehicle needs. Thank you, Kim. Now, the appointment came, and the wait was about 3 hours. I decided to scope out my daughter's interest in vehicles since we had never done so before and we were learning how to 'adult'. What did she want? "Acura!" she said. Well, before we left the dealership, I said to her, "You know, you'd look adorable in a Rav 4." So, we headed out of the service area and headed towards the sales floor. Along the way, we interrupted a team meeting being held in the vestibule between the sales floor and the car lot. The individual leading the meeting quickly halted speaking allowing my daughter and I to pass through. Outside was a beautiful white-colored, decked-out Rav 4. She was immediately in love. We quickly went inside, again interrupting the team meeting, and I'd asked the team lead if anyone would help up with looking at the vehicle we had just seen. I really wanted to help her see herself in the vehicle before developing a plan to help her reach her goal. Upon asking, the Manager hollered, "We have a Customer! Who wants to help them out?" Well, I'm a retired Army warrant officer. My expectation was that of the 25 sale people in that room, all 25 would jump at the chance. Nope! Just one: Jacob Sanchez. Although, he did not know it at the time, nor did my daughter, that was the moment I decided that this young man would sell a car today to the dismay of every other sales person who had an opportunity to look at my daughter and me and did not rise to the occasion. I was, however, stern with Jacob and reenforced the consideration that my daughter was the client and not me. After telling him I was a retired Army officer he brought over his Manager Tim Mallams, Used Sale Manager, who was a retired Army Special Forces Officer himself. After a brief reminiscense between Tim and I regarding our service, Tim set me at ease as a father who similarly went through this in his family and then Jacob went to work immediately. Knowledgeable, motivated and disciplined, Jacob exhibited extraordinary poise and understanding of my daughters desires. All the while, her eyes were filled with wonder and amazement and along the way, I continued to ask her how her experience was going. She was profoundly amazed, but deep down inside not believing that anything would be possible at this time. Well, review seekers, my daughter is now the proud owner of her very own Toyota Rav 4 at the price she knew she could commit too. Thank you, Toyota The Teeples P.S. Those who think things won't be able to work out should just give this dealership a chance. They might just be amazed.

Have only had excellent experiences here. Donnie is truly a gem and goes above and beyond for clients. He sold me my very first car at a great price almost a decade ago, and he has always been honest and fair! The whole family would never look anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Donnie was extremely helpful with the process of me buying my first car! He was very reassuring with all my questions and took time to go through everything with me. He helped make sure that my family and I all had a great experience. I will most definitely come back again.

Had my vehicle serviced for the first time. Just a routine tire rotation. The service manager Jonathan was extremely helpful. Breaking down the services that would be recommended coming down the line as well as recommending what should be prioritized in the future. The entire process was quick and painless. All of the service staff as well as the parts staff was very friendly and accommodating every step of the way. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

I worked with Kim Nigh, and she was highly recommended, very knowledgeable and friendly. She did not over sell the service, also got me the current coupon applied to the oil change. Definitely will continue come to schedule with her for my Toyota any future service. The waiting area was very comfortable and clean.

Update 17-1-2024 Keep Robert Cheng and give him a raise. He is the best thing about this place. ------- Jonathon Lewis did a great job today getting me in and out for my oil change. **Update 13-11** Keep a hold of Robert Cheng and Felix the shuttle driver. They are quality employees that put the customer first everytime. If it wasn't for them, this place would get zero stars.
