My dad took my car in for a shuddering issue that occurred at low speeds with the switch from first to second gear and was told that new tires and wheel alignment would solve the issue plus my vehicle was “riding rough.” I did not think it would, nor that it was rough, but agreed to go ahead. I was incapacitated so could not take the vehicle in myself. After the work was completed, the shuddering issue was still present. I was told to come in to do a test drive to repeat the shuddering. When I came in, Greg, the person my dad was working with, asked me what all the issues with the car were. I explained I was there for the shuddering issue as discussed. He said that my dad brought my vehicle in for a shuddering at 65 mph and rough riding. I explained that was not true. The vehicle being rough riding was something they told us was happening. My dad was very clear that he came in for the shuddering, as that was my only issue, and the shuddering was at low speed and we had no issues with rough riding. He then said maybe there was a language barrier. We are people of color. My dad is of British descent and grew up speaking English, and our household was English speaking and I have a Masters degree in English and so does my mother. At this point, I decided that this was not a trustworthy establishment. I would never recommend them to anyone, nor would I return.
