Our car went into limp mode east of Junction city, had it towed to this shop because I had taken another vehicle there before for a tune up. It was going to be a few days before they could get to it. I had a friend who has a scanner look to see what the codes were and they were showing that it was rod bearing failure. When they got to it they said that code didn’t show up and they ended up doing $600 worth of work to the car. We picked it up and it did the exact same thing we took it there for the first time. Had it towed back and they looked at it and now the code pops up. And they said they can’t replace the motor there. I think they lied and it did have that same code but they said it wasn’t the problem and said this other stuff was the problem just to get money. Luckily the car had a warranty for the exact reason it broke down in the first place so the dealership replaced it totally free and we got a rental car the entire time. But I do t recommend doing business with this place.

They beat the price of another shop in town by 20% for a timing belt and kit replacement, got me in quick, took me to work, picked me up, had done extra work to get my bumper cover better attached than when I brought it in (hanging on with zip ties), talked to me for quite awhile afterwards giving advice about other issues I had. Was extremely happy with the service and will be back.

We were traveling from Wichita to western Wyoming. Around Salina our check engine light came on. They got us in and out inside of 2 hours...same day! Absolutely great service!

I was traveling through, and my car wouldn't start. They came to my rescue! Towed my car, the lady I talked to on the phone came and picked my kids and I up. They got my car fixed within the hour and I was back on the road! I am so grateful for them! Very nice people too!

Took our suburban in. They hooked up a reader and then reset the system. Drove it home. Hit a pheasant the next day. Took it back when they could get it in. Drove it home. Same problems it was having the 1st time. Requested a quote before they did anything. Got a call they replaced the oil pump, something my mechanic husband had already done. We were told we owed 1300.00 for something we didn't authorize. When my husband called in. He was treated very rudely. Was told we were trying to nickel and dime them, and we didn't understand how a business worked.

I cannot say enough good things about Mark and his business at Oards. I had a hiccup with having something replaced without a phone call to me and, while I was not not being the kindest about it, Mark did what he could to help me out when he didn’t have to. He is super sweet and just wants to run a good, honest business- and as long as I’m around in Salina and they’ll take me, they have a customer for life!! Cannot recommend this place enough
