I needed a new car battery, since I had to contact the auto club twice in the last couple of weeks for a jump to get started. I made an appointment with Jon, at Burnett automotive, since my SIL uses them regularly for his and my daughter’s car repairs. The staff was helpful and friendly. All of my questions were answered and the car battery was efficiently installed. I recommend Burnett to my friends.

The primary purpose going to Burnett Auto is the convenience. Unfortunately, they do not practice good customer service. These two signs should be removed from their wall: 1. Treating customers with courtesy and respect 2. Code of Ethics The 87th street location would have to be the worst . The weekend crew is very unprofessional and takes no accountability for good work. The work on my vehicle was subpar and they left the interior a mess. Then became combative when I requested to not have that technician work on my vehicle in the future. Needless to say…I will not be back to that location. The College Blvd and Quivira location was not much better. When a customer ask for the next available appointment. One would expect to get the next available appointment. The employees response was, “let me ask you again! When would you like to bring your car in?” I said today. The response I received was…we don’t have any availability's today. I can do 8am on Monday or anytime after 1pm.

Took my vehicle in after a local lube tech suggested I had a pricey engine issue. The folks at Burnett were open and upfront about pricing and timeline for repair. Communication was excellent and the diagnosis of issue was much simpler than originally feared. Repair was completed in one day. Will definitely return.

I was driving home from the airport when I started to hear a loud noise coming from the driver’s side. As it’s a 4 hour drive, I was extremely nervous about the noise. I stopped at Burnett automotive and even though they were busy, the manager Ryan took the time to look at my car because he saw I was worried. They took it for a drive and then put it on the lift and did a thorough inspection. Then Ryan came out to talk to me, and explained in detail what they found and whether or not I would be able to get back home safely, as they didn’t have any appointments for that day. He explained his reasoning in terms that were technical but easy to understand. He was very reassuring and put my mind at ease. I was able to get home safely. Thank you Ryan and Burnett automotive!

We live in the St. Louis area and my wife was in Overland Park in December for a soccer trip. Without any sign of warning and no previous issues the engine in my vehicle failed at a stop light. The vehicle was towed to Burnett on a Saturday and they read last rites to my beloved GMC Terrain on the following Monday. Burnett allowed me to leave the vehicle at their shop, undeliverable without storage fees. It took almost six weeks to have the vehicle towed out for auction. The staff at Burnett were incredible and packed up the items in our vehicle and mailed them to us at no charge. The shop was professional, courteous and went well beyond anything I would have ever expected. In fact, the staff spoke with me several times trading notes on their experiences against my research for a new vehicle prior to purchase. If you need work performed on your vehicle and you reside anywhere near Johnson County, KS...Burnett is THE smart and best option for your vehicle.

Wow Just Wow!! Caitlyn was amazing after a terrible blow out in which it shredded my tire, she calmed me down, told me we will get in, take a look and figure it out. Although they didn’t have the tire it was late in the day she gave me an estimate to fix the tire informed me the driver rear was just as bad. We put the spare on and I got safely home. We will be fixing it Monday. Thank you, thank you so much. You really helped and made me feel at ease. Great Job!
