Always treat us right!
This play sucks
I bought a 2018 Tahoe in the beginning of January. I had a rough experience just buying the vehicle from them. My fiancé and I were first approached by Eugene. Gene allowed us to test drive it and take it to our mechanic where we found a few things wrong with it. Going into purchasing this vehicle, I talked to him about my budget and what I was looking to hopefully pay. We then were approached by Christian, the finance manager. Christian had seemed to practically take over Genes car sale and it wasn’t that great. Christian had talked down to me. Christian kept pushing to pull my credit and try to finance through them after being told no numerous times. I had already had my bank lined up. Christian told us “well, then we’re looking at the wrong car then,” in the most snarky tone. Christian/Gene didn’t bother to even try to place us into a different vehicle. After that, we left. I came back a few days later to buy the vehicle again, and was greeting with “oh what are you guys doing here,” which was incredibly rude to say to the least when someone’s walking in to buy a vehicle. Once I replied, “to buy the 2018 Tahoe,” they wanted to become friends again and were trying to strike up conversations. Over all, the sales department experience was okay, they did their job, but the way we were spoke to was uncalled for. After the vehicle was bought, we called to have some things replaced as that’s what needed done, especially the battery they knew was old. Calling and getting ahold of the service department, as well as the sales man for warranty, was TERRIBLE. We kept getting, “oh well call you back with information,” and NEVER did they call us back. We had to keep calling and calling. It was almost as though they were trying to push things further along so they didn’t have to warranty it. The drivers door didn’t have a door stop, which to a service advisor said was “normal.” That is not at all normal for vehicles, so I had to get a second opinion, and thankfully, they took care of that bill. The back hatch was leaking water, and it took over a month to even get a proper appointment to get it looked at. I didn’t even receive a call saying my vehicle was ready and it sat there for almost a week for nothing to be wrong with it. I picked up my vehicle and found that it hadn’t even been put back together. (I have photos of where it was leaking then being returned not back together) I would have said something to them, but at that rate I was fed up with all the terrible experience I had with them. It probably would have taken another month for them to place it back on. I would recommend the sales side of Briggs GMC, they did their job, but the way you’re talked to isn’t the greatest. However, I don’t recommend the service side, because as a customer you have to call and call and call to even get to talk to a single person.
They did a great job on my hummer ev. Efficient and professional
Retired old part, instead of just ordering part. Good service, friendly folks.
Greta customer service
I had an issue with a recalled part which was fixed on a Saturday. Brought my vehicle home and began having issues with it hard starting. Since I'd never had this issue happen before we called and asked if this could be related to the previous work. They had us bring the vehicle back in the next Saturday. We get a call that some sensor needs to be replaced and will be several hundred dollars and we need to leave it over the weekend. This felt off since we had no issues before, so we picked it up (now running even worse than when we dropped off) and brought it to our trusted local mechanic. He just found a different sensor that Briggs had knocked off and didn't put back on. The vehicle is now running fine. This is ridiculous and not only a waste of our time but makes me wonder if they would have kept stringing us along with unnecessary work.
