Came in to get a part replaced, picked up the car with the part not replaced. Had to get it elsewhere a few days later when the car broke down again. We were still charged the full price, and had to wait the full period. He told us the part was replaced, but we got a look ourselves with another mechanic and the part was still old and dirty. Apparently some sort of cleaning fluid was sprayed in there. That was my gf's car, hence you can't find it under my name

Very honest man to deal with. My son was a student in Goodland and Jim always was more than fair and honest on work that needed to be done and also on what didn’t. He never tried to oversell. Our family highly recommends this shop.

TL;DR - Jim is the best mechanic a person could ask for. If your car breaks down near Goodland, KS *JG is the correct choice*. Recommend 10/10! Last week, my 15yo Kia suddenly had a battery issue (and then some) when I arrived at my sister's house. I was 7 hours away from home and didn't know who to trust. Thankfully, my sis had been to JG once before, so we had the tow truck take it to Jim. Listen, not only is he super knowledgeable and respectful, he is patient and ready to explain things in simple terms. Once he figured out the issue and had my hunk-of-clunk running, he called to reassure me that I'd be able to drive home safely. And no, he didn't charge an absurd price, quite the opposite (based on rates at home) and I'm so grateful. In the end, I had a smooth ride home and didn't have to lose sleep. Thank you, Jim!
