Lots of defects in my PPF, tint, etc. You can do much better. Edit to response: Here is my proof in pictures. I couldn’t capture the dog hair that was sealed into my lower rocker paint or I’d have a couple other examples of my factual claim. I have a personal account and a business account and you’ve worked on both accounts. You are also into censoring opinions against the FB terms of service for no violation of the group rules other than a fair and differing opinion. You send legal notices to differing reviews to use scare tactics against those that did not get 5 star service. If you want to post legal jargon, I’ve got plenty of lame offenses just as you do. You still have no evidence against my group abuse other than offering a different shop which simply made you angry. You took several steps to escalate this with emotion instead of reason. As an Admin of a local group, you should operate with integrity but you don’t. Similar to how you have handled your business.

These guys are amazing and do amazing work. The whole team are courteous and detail oriented. It was a bit of a drive for me from up in the Northland, but well worth it. Ted and the boys are highly recommended. Thanks again guys. Sorry for the dark photos but I just got off work. From what I understand wrapping a shell is a pain and the guys took it on no problem. I want to lay out the facts so you can see why we didn’t refuse you service but instead were not in a position to provide you service. You reached out from a 913 number. We were wrong in assuming you were local when asking for a flat glass installation quote, however, we have only gotten requests for flat glass quotes from the Missouri side of the state line from commercial entities. This is honestly the first time a Missouri resident has wanted their windows tinted. So we assumed you were nearby. We quoted you more than a fair price to tint your storm door, however upon learning that you are 35 miles from the shop, we determined that we can’t make that trip for right now due to our existing workload. Pulling our guys off of the jobs that they’re on to send them on a 60-minute plus round-trip to tint a single window wouldn’t have been fair to our other customers that we we were already actively performing work for. Thanks for reaching out to us anyway! Hopefully we’ll have an opportunity to turn that 1-star review into a 5-star review by actually performing some work for you.
This was not my first PPF applied to a vehicle, but it was my first Cosmetic PPF installed, and I'm absolutely blown away by the quality of this wrap! I highly recommend taking the plunge if you're on the fence because it will absolutely set your car apart from the rest of the pack. Especially if you own a Tesla that only have a handful or color options from the factory. Ted, Ethan, and the rest of the team there all showed a passion for their craft and it shows in their work! I'll definitely be taking my other vehicles to them from now on!

The team at Detail Auto & Window Tinting are the only ones I go to for my cars. They are top-notch service and always want to make sure that the overall experience is always 5-star quality. They are 45 minutes away from me, and it is worth the drive past all of these other good shops to reach this great one. Highly recommend!

5 stars isn’t enough!! I have known Ted for years and he has never let me down. Anytime I call him, he answers immediately but even when he doesn’t have time, he still responds to tell me that he is tied up, but will get back same day! I love that he is patient with me with all of the questions about different projects that I have. Even though I bleed BMW colors, I still ask his advice about his recommendations on other brands as he is extremely helpful and knowledgeable of cars in general. He has car history in his blood and has been around them all of gods life. Ted has a lot of experience with paint coatings, detailing, wraps and window tint. I have a fascination with cars so all of my vehicles go to him and I never hesitate to send anyone his way. There are many companies in the KC area that tint windows and of course they may be cheaper, but the bottom line is, you get what you pay for! Ted will shoot you straight and is very honest. Most people don’t like him because of that, but I think those are very important attributes for a successful business!!

Today I was confused with another Josh and Ted accused me of several things I did not do. It was shocking and weird. He said I got other bids after committing to the project and that my mom and her Volvo went to another shop? What? Seriously… what? Before I committed, I received 3 bids in a two day period during my diligence but after confirming with Ted I was committed and never looked elsewhere. In fact, I tried to pay my deposit the next day. Literally the strangest interaction I’ve ever had with a business trying to spend $5,000. My mom… She drives a Honda Pilot for the last 8 years and could care less about protecting her car and never used any services like this in her life. The guys doing the work here are good people that do good work, I respect Jon, but my interaction with Ted was unacceptable. Always interjecting emotion into the deals and complicating things. Truly disappointing. His response to this review will likely deny, I will post screenshots of the interaction Ted. I think at the end of the conversation he knew he messed up. He tried to reschedule me like it was a favor…after compiling a narrative like that. This business would be better off with new representation.
Got my car wrapped and I am absolutely impressed! They exceeded my expectations! They are very knowledgeable, very responsive, and answered all my questions. I will be back for sure!

I have a Tesla Model 3 and took it to this shop for PPF, ceramic coating and window tinting. Their customer service is really top-notch and my car looks great!
