I had a car repaired in the past and I was very satisfied with the work and price. I then bought a salvage vehicle and took it here to get a quote along with several other places. This was the only one that did not have a 6month+ wait list. Which should have been a red flag. I received my quote and left the vehicle in February of this year. Was told job would take about 3 weeks or more depending on the parts and how fast they were received. I kid you not, it took the owner 6 months! and that was because we started going every week to check on the progress for the car. He was not happy that we kept checking on it. He eventually finished it six months later and to top it off the end price was four thousand dollars more than the quoted price. We paid for the parts upfront so there was no reason for the increase. Except that he might have charged for his mistakes of not ordering the parts in a timely manner or for keeping the vehicle in his shop for six moths, which as not our problem. I learned my lesson, next time I will wait for someone who is honest and can do business in an honest manner. During this time we had several trucks serviced elsewhere for our company and nobody else had issues getting parts or adjusting the price by thousands, it was adjusted by hundreds, but this was excessive. I want to clarify, I have not problem with the work completed, My problem is with the time and with the excessive increase in price. There is no way the parts that were bought increased 4 thousand dollars, when we gave the money to purchase them at what he wanted up front. Why the increase? Be careful.
